Long Distance Relations
As my mother was getting older, I came to realize that she needed help.  However, I live in North Texas and she lived in Beaumont.  What was I going to do, move my family there or move her here?  That was not a good option for anyone.  It was at her doctors suggestion we find a licensed in-home service or place her in assisted living.  We were referred to Coastal Caregivers.  They were able to meet with me during one of my visits to Beaumont and set up care.  Within a few days, there was a caregiver in my mom's home doing for her what she could no longer do.  The caregiver was able to assist her in preparing her meals, taking her to doctor's appointments, reminding her to take her medication and helping her in the bathroom.  Once mom took a turn for the worse, Coastal Caregivers was able to schedule caregivers around the clock.  I never worried that mom might be alone, she was in good hands.     -Sandra, Rockwall

Close to Home
We only live a few miles away from Dad, but we are very busy with our school age children.  Dad had hip surgery and needed help at home during his recovery.  At first, we would go over to his house in the morning, during lunch and on the way home from work but couldn't do this every day.  We soon realized that was not enough.  Our Home Health Agency recommended Coastal Caregivers.  After meeting with Christine during my lunch break, we started service the next day.  Dad was impressed with the level of care and compassion they showed him during his recovery and we appreciated knowing he was being cared for and could continue with our children's active schedules.  Once Dad was released by his doctor, we said goodbye for now.  Should Dad need in-home care again, we will call Coastal Caregivers first!    -Dan, Nederland
